Although most people’s first thought is of Steve McQeen’s bid for freedom on a motorcycle, The Great Escape can mean so many things to different people. It might be driving through the countryside, with the top down in a classic car or it might be finding a rare addition for your collection. There can be many things to distract you from the routine of everyday life and we hope that this catalogue will not only show you a number but perhaps stir you to do something different or out of the ordinary. Although some of the items relate to subjects, such as polar exploration or racing a car in a biplane, that are unfeasible for most of us to do, we hope that you will join us in celebrating those that have pushed the boundaries and achieved the extraordinary.
